      This series of booklets has tips and information about everyday activities parents can use to be their child's first teacher. The books can be printed out for free. The Zero to Three main web site is also worth exploring. The information is also available in Spanish.

  • National PTA

      Learn about the National PTA, and locate one near you. Find out how the National PTA can help you be more involved with your children's education. On this site you will find out about childcare, health services, taxe subsidies, and many other issues of concern for parents. There is a Spanish language version of this site.

  • ParenTalk from The National Parenting Center
      Research shows that children who enter school ready to learn are more successful in school. Research also shows that children whose parents are involved in their education perform better in school. The ParenTalk resources below feature "columns written by The National Parenting Center's child-rearing expert panelists that provide the information that parents want most" to help their children succeed in school.
