1. As students work through word processing assignments, part of the period should be devoted to reading materials which will enhance the students knowledge of computer terminology. If possible, divide reading into sections and show the video, An Introduction to Computers, which corresponds with each section. (hardware, software, and general) Students should read An Introduction to Computers-The Basics or other similar materials and complete the Introduction to Computers Worksheet.
2. Discuss the reading material and cover the Introduction to Computers Worksheet.
3. After discussion and review, show the video, Computer Basics for Non-Techies. This is and overview and review of reading, worksheet, and discussion.
4. Always refer to terminology when completing remaining sections: Windows 95, Word Processing, and Internet.
