About the New Site Redesign
If you have visited the Midwest LINCS site before you will have noticed we have gone through a major site redesign. The National LINCS, along with representatives from the regional hubs, began working on a full redesign for the entire LINCS system. This redesign would tie the national and regional LINCS systems together and make the resources offered through each site more readily available to all visitors.
After about a year of planning and working with an outside firm for design and graphics, the National LINCS and its four regional hubs completed its task and came up with what you see today.
With this new redesign comes many new features. The Midwest LINCS site has added a Grants & Funding section which is broken down into Grant Seeking, Grant Writing and Misc Grants & Funding Sites. There is also a Facts & Statistics section with has general statistics sites listed and also a page listing our state partners and links to state-specific facts and statistics.
As the redesign continues there will be new additions to greater help your search for literacy resources. One feature will be the extended search that will allow you to search through the entire LINCS system (the national hub and the four rgional hubs).
This is a very exciting stage in the growth of the LINCS system. The new design may seem a little hard to get through the first time so please check the Site Map if there is something you know we have but you cannot find. As with any new thing, this will get easier the more you use it. If you have any questions, comments, suggestions or concerns please contact us! The more feedback we get from our users, the better we can make this site. We need your input to make these pages as user-friendly as possible.
