OAACE Administrative Assistant

The Ohio Association of Adult and Continuing Education (OAACE) is seeking an administrative assistant to provide support for the organization. The Assistant will be a contract employee who works from his/her home. Primary duties include but are not limited to:

The preferred candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, demonstrate excellent customer service skills and enjoy being the "go to person" of a statewide organization. The Administrative Assistant is a critical member of the OAACE Board team and will need to balance and respond to requests for service from the Board and the OAACE membership. Additionally, the ability to successfully work independently without daily supervision will be required.

The financial package includes a starting salary of $13.00 per hour for a maximum of 40 hours of work per month. The hours will increase immediately prior to, during, and following the annual conference. The administrative assistant must agree to have a dedicated phone line for OAACE use only installed in his/her home. Phone installation, fax, and monthly fees are paid by OAACE.
