Family Fun Night 4-18-2002
Below are photos taken from the first "family fun night" held at the Strip Shopping Mall Starbucks in Canton, OH on April 18, 2002. The OLRC in partnership with the Starbucks Foundation collaborated with the Stark County Even Start Programs to create a program that promotes family literacy. At this event, the parents and children participated in musical and art activities and received books to take home and add to their existing library or to start a family library. Eight families (14 children) were present at this event.
