Restoring the Database from a Backup

Select Restore Database from the Main Menu

Restore Database Procedure

Click the Start button and in the window that opens, select the location of the file and backup database name to restore (i.e. ABLERMDB_2011_11072010BKUP.mdb).
Be sure you are using your most recent backup. All backup files will begin with "ABLERMDB" and end with "BKUP".
The inside numbers are the date of the backup (ABLERMDB_2011_11072010BKUP.mdb would be a backup created on 11-07-10, November 7, 2010).

Restore Database Procedure

Click the Open button. This restore backup procedure will take some time depending on the size of the database, please wait for the status bar (bellow the Start button) to say "Restore Database Completed".

NOTE!! This will restore the information from the data you LAST BACKED UP! This will not restore the last known good data. This will ONLY restore the data in the backup file. If your last back up was 3 months ago, this will be the data you are restoring. BACK UP REGULARLY AND OFTEN!
