Entering Students FAQ

Do I have to enter in every student that walks through our ABLE program doors?

No. Students need only be entered into ABLELink after they've completed orientation.

Many of our students attend multiple classes within our program, how can I reflect that in the Student Intake Staff Use Only Tab's "Primary Class Assignment"?

Students may attend more than one class within a program but MUST be associated with ONE class. "Primary Class Assignment" is only used for placemnet by the ABLELink program.

I do not have a Social Security Number for many of my students.

This is not a mandatory field and can be left blank. However, in order to participate in the state data match, this field is required.

What do I enter as a student's age in the Student Intake?

The student's age is the age they were when they entered the program.
