Repairing the Database


Reparing the Database in 2009

If you start to have problems with the database, it is recommended that you close the program and repair the database immediately.  This should be done for both the ABLELink_2009.mdb and the ABLERMDB_2009.MDB files in the ABLELink2009 folder.  You repair the database by:

  1. In the ABLELink2009 folder, double click on the database you want to repair (i.e. ABLELink_2009.mdb or ABLERMDB_2009.MDB).
  2. Once it opens in Access, go to the tools menu at the top of the main toolbar.
  3. While in the Tolls menu, select Database Utilities and from there choose Compact and Repair Database.

This will begin to automatically repair the database.
