Dear ALD members,
I have been informed by Susan Glaeser that she wishes to not assume the
Chair position of the ALD at the fall 2012 meeting in Grand Rapids.  I have
contacted Kit Mohr and she has suggested a couple of options.  We could:

1.  vote for both incoming secretary / chair elect (which would have been
done this next meeting) and a new chair at the next membership meeting
2.  extend the chair's term and only elect / vote upon secretary / chair
elect at the next meeting
3.  call for a special election to fill this position prior to the fall
membership meeting to where this person would assume the chair's position at
the next membership meeting.
4.  wait to discuss reorganization options at our next meeting

Therefore, we as a membership need to make a decision as to how to come to a
solution.  To make this very democratic, I would like to hear from you.
Please respond directly to me by April 15 at pate_robin at yahoo.com

Thank you for your time,
