Calculator Practice
This web site will get you to seven lessons, seven practice activities, and complete answers for using the CASIO FX -260 calculator, the calculator chosen by the GED testing service. Jeri Braunagel, a teacher affiliated with the Missouri Valley Adult Education Association, developed the material.

CNN Interactive Resources
This site offers students an opportunity to read and react to news stories, both past and present. Students can work on their comprehension skills and more. It includes a searchable index of articles. Each article is available in 3 forms. There is a full text article, a shorter article that is easier to read, and an outline. Several have videos. Each article is followed by short answer activities. Students will get feedback on their answers right away. There is also an opportunity to respond to materials via e-mail. A brief Teacher's Page describes the objectives, lessons, and materials.
