DAY ONE
Students will meet with the teacher. The project activities and results will be discussed. Students will decide on their destination, utilize map web sites, discuss time zones, determine two methods of travel, approximate travel time and cost of each.
Materials: Computer, Internet, time zone worksheet, travel rate/distance worksheet, map reading worksheet
Pick a destination that you would like to visit. Decide on two different travel methods to your destination and determine the cost and travel time of each. Mark down the search engines and web sites utilized.
