When a child sets up the work space this way, he or she can
1. wet the brush (or clean the brush),
2. wipe off the excess water,
3. dip in the paint,
4. paint.
Then the child can start over from top to bottom. The set up helps the child learn the sequence of
*clean the brush,
*dry the brush,
*dip the brush and
*paint.
