The presentation will cover the differences and similarities of search engines, subject directories and multi/mega engines and how to locate resources using all three. The second part of the presentation will cover how to evaluate Internet resources. This includes understanding and decoding Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), determining if the information collected from the site is accurate and reliable, making sure it is appropriate for their audience, and looking at different methods used to evaluate Internet resources.
